Aloha from Alola

I swear this project started out with just an attempted design for a simple owl.

With all the hype around Pokemon Sun and Moon, I thought I might jump the train as well! I took the original artwork that was released and used it towards drafting the three starters.

I had a friend in a group chat telling us about how she couldn’t waiting for the Rotom Pokedex, and I ended up integrating it into the project. Once I had the wallpaper for my laptop, I wanted to make something for my phone too. I ended making the Rotom for my lock screen and the 3 starters alone. The only problem was that Popplio just seemed extremely awkward but then again, the lil guy was awkward to begin with!
